Birthday Girl Laura Wright Shares Some Gorgeous Makeup-Free Selfies!

Fans filled social media with birthday wishes for GENERAL HOSPITAL star Laura Wright (Carly) on Sept. 11, but one of the most special messages came from her real-life beau, Wes Ramsey (ex-Peter). He shared a photo of the actress on a boat holding their goldendoodle Kimba in her arms as the setting sun casts a golden glow over them.

“Another magical year around the sun, my darling, and you’re still shining so bright!” Ramsey wrote. “May the gift of life and love continue to bless you with the laughter and strength and drive that define you and inspire others! Thank you for sharing your warmth with the world… Happy birthday, baby!”

He also included multicolored heart emojis, a hug emoji, and the hashtags “#sunshineseeker,” “#laurasworld,” and “#gratefulman.” Wright quickly commented on his post to declare: “Love you, Baby!”

The day after her birthday, Wright posted some makeup-free selfies with her naturally curly hair as she expressed her gratitude to everyone for the well wishes. “I have some amazing pictures from a photo shoot I did recently,” the GH star said. “However, when choosing some pictures to post to thank everyone for the birthday wishes I received — and to honor my 52 years — these no makeup, curly hair ones won out!

“When I think about what I want at 52 — who do I want to be, how do I want to show up — the word ‘authentic’ kept coming up,” the actress continued. “Yes, I’ll still post glamorous shots and I do love getting dolled up. But I am having the time of my life discovering me. Yes, this is me at 52.”

Wright also captioned her selfies with the hashtags: “#authenticity,” “#thisisme,” “#grateful,” “#lifeisbeautiful,” “#happinessisachoice,” and “nofilter.”

Please join us in wishing Wright a very happy birthday and many more to come!
