Bradford Anderson Teases His Return to GENERAL HOSPITAL
Don’t be surprised if instead of hearing about him you actually see Spinelli in upcoming episodes as Bradford Anderson revealed that he was back at GENERAL HOSPITAL taping more shows! “A lovely few days at Prospect Studios,” he shared on Instagram with a selfie outside the building. “Excited for you to see what’s coming…” Given the soap’s shooting schedule, viewers can look forward to seeing him on screen again in early April.
The actor also looked forward to seeing fans at the GH Convention that was held from March 18-20. “See some of you this weekend!” he enthused. And sure enough, he shared a selfie with co-star William Lipton (Cameron) as the two actors performed at the Saturday Night Concert during the event.
Anderson first joined the cast of GH as Damian Spinelli back in November 2006 and while initially only meant to be a recurring character, the computer geek quickly became a fan favorite and his portrayer was put on contract with the soap just six months after his debut. Anderson’s run lasted until December 2013 and earned him three Daytime Emmy Award nominations for his work over the years.
Although Spinelli was written out at the end of 2013, Anderson has continued to reprise his role numerous times over the years that followed. The character has been mentioned as recently as March when Spinelli helped delete copies of Cam and Joss’ sex tape from the internet, but the last time Anderson was on camera was back in February 2022 when Sam hung out with Spinelli and opened up about her new relationship with Dante.
Sam and Dante are currently working together to figure out exactly what Victor Cassadine is up to and she suggested having Spinelli find out exactly what Project Demeter is. So when Spinelli shows up again, will he be part of the investigation into Victor’s schemes, finding out who’s tormenting Liz, or something else entirely? You’ll have to stay tuned to find out!
