GH Alum Briana Nicole Henry Welcomes a Beautiful Baby Girl!

Tags:

And baby makes three! GENERAL HOSPITAL alum Briana Nicole Henry (ex-Jordan) has joined the ranks of motherhood! The actress and her husband, Kris Bowers, shared the wonderful news that they are now a family of three in coordinating Instagram posts.

Both Henry and Bowers quoted passages by writer Yrsa Daley-Ward in their posts announcing the birth of their daughter, Coda, on February 28. “You have introduced me to my favorite version of myself,” Henry wrote in her Instagram caption. “Thanks for making the journey here with me, little one. Welcome my little Coda, I love you endlessly.”

Meanwhile, in a post of his own, Bowers expressed gratitude to his beautiful bride for bringing their daughter into the world. “Thank you for making us a family, Briana,” the musician wrote. Both Coda’s mother and father acknowledged that today, March 8, is International Women’s Day by hashtagging the global celebration in their posts.

Little Coda’s name is certainly unique, but one that has a special meaning for the couple: Bowers is a Grammy and Oscar-nominated composer who has scored the music for feature films (like Green Book and Dear White People), video games, television series (like the Netflix smash period drama BRIDGERTON), and documentaries. In musical terms, the coda is the section that brings the piece of music to an end.

Please join us in sending a big round of congratulations to Henry and Bowers on the birth of their first child. Welcome to the world, little Coda!
