Brooklyn Rae Silzer Got the Sweetest Happy Birthday From Nicolas Bechtel — See the Throwback Pic!

Tags:

Back on April 1, Brooklyn Rae Silzer (ex-Emma) shared birthday wishes with GENERAL HOSPITAL as the soap celebrated its 59th anniversary, and on April 27, she was swamped with love and best wishes on her own birthday! “Thanks so much!” she exclaimed on Twitter. “Sweet 16!”

But it was former GH castmate Nicholas Bechtel (ex-Spencer) who really melted hearts when he shared an old pic of the two of them together back in the day. (If the pins shaped like red crosses weren’t a dead giveaway, the American Red Cross hat in Bechtel’s hand gives away that this was a snap taken at a charity event!) “Happy birthday, B,” he captioned the pic.

Silzer quote-tweeted his pic and responded: “Oh my gosh, I miss you so much!” She also added, “We can both drive now!” Back on October 8, 2021, Bechtel shared a selfie on his Instagram holding up his paperwork to reveal that he’d gotten his license. And now that she’s old enough, it’s Silzer’s turn!

Silzer joined the cast of GH back in July 2011, when the soap aged Robin and Patrick’s daughter, Emma, into a little girl. Fans watched her grow up on screen over the years until Silzer was written out along with her TV parents, Kimberly McCullough and Jason Thompson in 2016. However, the teen has continued to bring Emma back to Port Charles for the occasional visit.

Unfortunately, with the role of Spencer now being played by Nicholas Alexander Chavez, GH fans won’t get to see Silzer and Bechtel sharing the screen again… at least not in Port Charles. So we’ll just have to make do with memories of classic scenes from GH and throwback pics like the one above!
