GENERAL HOSPITAL Alum Bryan Craig Is Moving to New York

Tags:

Los Angeles is where Hollywood is, but there are plenty of acting opportunities elsewhere, something that GENERAL HOSPITAL alum Bryan Craig is pursuing. “Same love, same passion, different city,” he declared on Instagram with a pic of himself looking out over the city skyline. “LA, you’ve been home for over 11 years and it’s been a great 11 years. Thanks to everyone that’s been a part of my life here and will continue to be.

“This has been something I’ve been wanting to do for a while now,” he continued, “so it feels good to finally be doing it. New York is home and I look forward to everything that’s to come.” In the comments to his post, former castmate Anthony Montgomery (ex-Andre) admitted, “I”m thinking about the movie myself. I’ll see you there! Have fun, B! Shine!”

Craig had his breakthrough role as Morgan Corinthos on GH back in 2013, and earned four separate Daytime Emmy Award nominations over his time on the soap, taking home the trophy twice. Although he left the soap in 2016, he made a cameo appearance in a special episode in 2018 and his fans are still wishing the writers would reverse Morgan’s death and Craig would reprise his role.

But since leaving daytime, Craig has starred as Sgt. Adam Coogan on the CW primetime series VALOR and more recently as Javi Mendoza on ABC’s primetime sudser GRAND HOTEL which was unceremoniously canceled after just one season. His film, The Ride, is scheduled to hit theaters this year.

Some fans have already suggested that once Craig is in New York City, they think he’d be perfect taking the stage in a Broadway play, but we’re sure they’ll all join us in looking forward to whatever his next project turns out to be. And of course, we’ll be sure to let you know exactly what that is, so keep checking back for updates!
