Can Josslyn and Dex’s Love Survive on GH? — Eden McCoy Speaks Out!

Dex and Josslyn have had quite the roller coaster relationship on GENERAL HOSPITAL! She fell for the guy while not approving of him working for Sonny, and was actually relieved to learn that Dex was actually secretly working with Michael to gather evidence to bring Sonny down once and for all! Of course, once Michael changed his mind and canceled the whole thing, that changed everything!

“It’s a life-changing moment,” Eden McCoy (Josslyn) admitted to Soap Opera Digest of Michael’s decision. “It goes without saying how important Dex is to Josslyn, and [keeping the plan against Sonny quiet] has been this whole big spider web of secrecy and pressure. To know that it might have been for nothing is devastating.”

Worse still, Michael’s decision not to tear the family apart by trying to put Sonny in prison has left Dex still in Sonny’s employ, something Joss isn’t too happy about. (Although it doesn’t seem like Dex is that bothered by his job…)

“Josslyn has been trying to get away from that world and she’s been very clear about it to Dex,” McCoy explained. “She’s scared that she might end up losing another important male figure in her life. She’s seen this movie, you know? She saw it growing up with her mom.

“So it’s a very messy situation and for Joss, it’s coming from a place of fear,” she added. “And it will be interesting to see how things unfold and how far Joss will go to keep Dex in her life.”

Can Josslyn and Dex make a relationship work if he continues working for Sonny? Or will she continue to pressure him to leave that dangerous lifestyle behind? Does he even want to?
