Tags:

Veteran GENERAL HOSPITAL star John J. York (Mac) will be joining host Alan Locher in The Locher Room for a very special live chat with fans on Wednesday, May 26 at 3 p.m. ET at this YouTube link.

York’s acting career began in Chicago back in 1980 taking classes at Wisdom Bridge Theater under the guidance of Edward Kay-Martin. In 1983, he moved to Hollywood to start his career and landed a very important audition for the film Chattanooga Choo Choo. Not only did he get a role in the movie, he also met his future wife, Vicki, who was working as a casting assistant! In 1987, York got his big break starring in the FOX primetime TV series WEREWOLF. He also has made appearances on shows like MURDER SHE WROTE, FAMILY TIES, HOTEL, and many others. So he’ll have plenty to talk about besides his fan-favorite role of Mac Scorpio on GH — you won’t want to miss it!

And don’t forget to check out The Locher Room’s YouTube channel to see all the other fun live chats with soap stars you might have missed! The YouTube shows are also available as audio podcasts and can be found wherever you listen to podcasts on Amazon, Apple, Google, iHeartRadio, Spotify, and Spreaker.
