GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Chris Van Etten Is a Dad of Two!
Please join us in sending the warmest of wishes to GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Chris Van Etten (Chet) and his wife, Samantha, on the birth of their second child! The couple, who are already the parents of 2-year-old Milo Taylor, welcomed a baby girl — whom they named Lena — over the weekend.
Van Etten, who plays Amy’s big brother on GH, shared the news of his daughter’s arrival on Instagram by posting a pair of pictures. The first was a sweet snapshot of him sitting in a chair in his wife’s hospital room, wearing a black face mask and cuddling his newborn. Lena was swaddled in a white blanket with pink and blue stripes, and had a blue, white, and pink newborn beanie adorned with a bow covering her head.
The second photo the proud dad posted was of his daughter sleeping on a pink blanket, dressed in a white waffle-knit gown with a coordinating bow headband and a name tag that read, ‘Hello, my name is Lena.’ (It’s never too soon for a girl to start accessorizing!) “Welcome to the world little bean,” Van Etten wrote. “You may have been late getting here, but you got a cool birthday out of it.”
According to the couple’s pregnancy announcement back in October, their daughter was due to arrive in late March. But little Lena took her sweet time making her grand debut into the world and was born on Sat., April 3. When you break down her birth date in number format, it’s 4-3-2-1! A cool birth date, indeed!
