The Deleted Davis Girls Scene You Didn’t See on Yesterday’s GENERAL HOSPITAL
In the Feb. 16 episode of GENERAL HOSPITAL, everyone gathered at the church for Sonny’s funeral, but Alexis opted not to attend with her daughters. However, the actual scene where she made that decision was cut from the show for time.
Fans saw Alexis break down and confess to Sam, Kristina, and Molly that she’d been drinking and had bottles hidden around the house. The girls don’t judge their mother and are glad she’s finally admitting she has a problem, which is the first step towards recovery. However, in the next scene, Kristina and Sam have already left for the funeral and Alexis has changed into more casual clothes as Molly makes them some tea.
In the deleted scene, Kristina reminds her mother that Sonny would have wanted her to take care of herself and Alexis makes a difficult decision. “In that case,” she admits, “I think it would be best if I didn’t go to the funeral. I’m just not up to it.” Kristina offers to represent them both and Molly says she’ll stay behind while she goes to the church with Sam.
It’s always nice to see the Davis girls all together, so it’s a shame that GH cut one of their beautifully-acted scenes from the episode. Thankfully, however, the soap has made it available to watch online, so here you go!
