Eden McCoy Opens Up About Juggling Work, School, and More (EXCLUSIVE)
When GENERAL HOSPITAL’s production goes dark for hiatus, the cast gets a break from the grind and a chance to relax, travel, and tap into other projects. But it’s not quite the same for teenager Eden McCoy (Josslyn). “Hiatus is not a break,” she insisted to Soaps In Depth. “It’s school, [beach] volleyball, and living a normal life.”
One three-week-long July hiatus, however, was a unique opportunity. All the teenager had to do was win yet another gold medal on the sand, work on her driving skills, and hang with friends. But then, it was back to school for the straight-A student — and back to balancing it all. So how does she do it? “I don’t have an answer,” McCoy admitted. “There isn’t a secret. It’s what it sounds like: It’s really hard! I’m always doing one of those things or have one of those things on my mind. But it’s always been that way. I like being busy and I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
