Emma Samms Reunites With Her Dynasty Brothers!

Tags:

While in Los Angeles working on General Hospital and reconnecting with her Port Charles co-stars, Emma Samms (Holly) was able to spend some time with colleagues from one of her other television shows: the primetime soap Dynasty!

The British actress, who played oil heiress Fallon Carrington on the iconic 1980s drama, met up with her Dynasty brothers Jack Coleman (who played Steven) and Gordon Thompson (long-lost brother Adam) to share a meal. Samms’ husband, Simon McCoy, joined them and shared a photo of the smiling trio — along with a nostalgic pic of the group from the 1980s — on Twitter/X. “Carrington siblings reunited over a delightful lunch,” he wrote.

Sharing her hubby’s post on her own page, Samms confessed that she considers herself “so lucky to still have these two lovely men as my friends.”

It was at the end of Samms’ original GH run that she was offered the role on Dynasty, taking over from Pamela Sue Martin. In 1985, Holly presumably perished in a plane crash, and Samms became a household name thanks to the insane popularity of the primetime drama as well as The Colbys, the spinoff in which she starred. During the five years that Samms starred on Dynasty, Fallon had amnesia following a car accident, fell down a flight of stairs while pregnant, was abducted by aliens aboard a UFO, and got trapped in a mine!

It’s been 40 years since the Carringtons ruled over the elite social circles in Denver, but the bonds forged between Samms and her co-stars have indeed remained strong. Back in 2021, Coleman and Thompson joined their TV sister when Samms organized an online event to raise money for Long COVID research, a disease she’s been suffering from for four years now.
