Zeke on GENERAL HOSPITAL — Everything You Need To Know

Please join us in welcoming Gavin Houston to the cast of GENERAL HOSPITAL! Or should we say welcome back? The actor made his debut as Ezekiel “Zeke” Robinson in February 2023 but he actually appeared on GH in a handful of episodes back in 2010 as CSI tech Sly Thomas, helping investigate Claudia Zacharra’s murder. Although his initial run was only a short stint, Houston was back in Port Charles in June for another stint.

Houston made his daytime debut and kicked off his career back in 2002 playing Remy Boudreau on CBS soap GUIDING LIGHT. He then went on to appear in episodes of WIZARDS OF WAVERLY PLACE, WITHOUT A TRACE, RIZZOLI & ISLES, GREY’S ANATOMY, and SHAMELESS. From 2013-2021, he played Jeffrey Harrington on the primetime sudser THE HAVES AND THE HAVE NOTS. And most recently, he played Theodore in episodes of The CW’s ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO.

Curtis Ashford arranged for Zeke and Portia Robinson’s father, Sterling, to come to Port Charles to attend their Valentine’s Day wedding. Sadly, Portia’s mother’s health prevented her from joining the rest of the family. Portia asked Zeke about their mom and her new medication, but he revealed that Mom didn’t want him talking about that with her and instead presented her with a diamond broach that belonged to their great-grandmother to wear at the wedding.

While Sterling is a doctor like his daughter, Trina Robinson casually mentioned that her Uncle Zeke had gone in his own direction. She also introduced Zeke to her boyfriend, Spencer Cassadine at the wedding. After the wedding and reception, Zeke congratulated his sister and left with their father. After it was revealed that Curtis could possibly be Trina’s biological father, Portia called Zeke to ask him not to mention it to their parents, and assured him he didn’t have to come back because she could handle things herself.

Zeke did return to Port Charles in June, though, explaining to Portia that he had a client in New York and was staying at the Metro Court. He also agreed to help Portia in her campaign to keep Trina away from Spencer. Later, Zeke was relaxing at the Metro Court pool when he encountered Jordan Ashford at the bar.
