GENERAL HOSPITAL Is Preempted Today

Due to news coverage of the January 6th Committee hearings, the daytime schedule has once again been impacted and GENERAL HOSPITAL is preempted on Thursday, Oct. 13. “Due to ongoing breaking news coverage, today’s scheduled episode of GH will air tomorrow,” the soap posted to its social media accounts.

On the plus side, because this is a national preemption, it means that those fans in affected areas don’t need to worry about looking for today’s episode of GH on ABC.com or Hulu later because it won’t be there. It will simply air tomorrow.

And for those viewers who may live in an area where the hearings are not being broadcast during GH’s time slot, they shouldn’t be too confused if they see an encore episode. ABC typically airs a rerun in that case to fill the time period.

So remember, don’t bother looking for today’s GH on Hulu tonight because you won’t find it. The episode simply didn’t air. All you have to do is tune in tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 14, to find out what happens next as the action picks up right where it left off at the end of Wednesday’s show!
