Get back to the
General Hospital

Soap fans should be used to interruptions and preemptions by now but if you ask them, there are still plenty who get annoyed when their favorite show isn’t on. And unfortunately, the Oct. 6 episode of GENERAL HOSPITAL has been preempted nationally. “Due to ongoing breaking news coverage,” the soap posted to their official Twitter account, “today’s scheduled episode of GH will now air tomorrow.” If there was no news coverage in your particular area, you would have seen that ABC ran an encore episode from November 2020.

Sometimes if a soap is only preempted in certain areas, the fans who live there will need to seek out the episode they missed on demand or online so they can stay caught up on all the drama. However, this preemption of the Oct. 6 episode of GH was a national preemption which means that the episode originally scheduled to air on that day will instead air the following day, on Thursday, Oct. 7. So fans don’t have to worry that they’ve missed anything. Just tune in tomorrow!

And with Sonny trying to get his life in Port Charles back while Carly and Jason continue to deal with their lingering feelings, Anna and Robert teaming up to find Drew (and now Valentin, too!), plus Maxie and Brook Lynn struggling to keep their baby swap under wraps, there is a lot of drama no one wants to miss out on!

So be sure to tune in on Thursday, Oct. 7 to see the episode of GH that was supposed to air today, and don’t forget to check your DVR because very often, ABC airing a rerun of the soap screws things up and viewers find that their DVR doesn’t record the following episode. And like we said, you don’t want to miss a minute of the action on GH!
