A lot can happen in a day in Port Charles, so it can be easy to get lost. If you’ve missed anything that happened over the week of Sept. 16, 2024, our General Hospital weekly recaps will help get you back up to speed in no time!
Holly and Sidwell were in a swanky club in Africa when Anna and Jason arrived. Noticing Holly, Jason thought she could help, but Anna warned she was usually only out for herself. Jason distracted Sidwell so Anna could swipe his phone and copy it but Holly interrupted her! In his cell, an injured Lucky dreamt of Liz, who urged him to come back to his family, and upon waking, he began trying to escape. Anna explained her mission to Holly, who warned it was impossible to get into Sidwell’s compound so Anna told Jason that he needed to beat him at poker so they’d be invited to play at the camp. After Sidwell lost Holly’s bracelet, she insisted he win it back so he asked Jason and Anna to his camp, but suspected they were up to something and would make them pay!
Alexis Went to Prison!
Alexis agreed to be questioned to try and figure out what the cops had on her but after lying about where she found the gun she tossed, was stunned when Detective Bennett revealed that her car was seen at the Quartermaine mansion the night of Cates’ death! Kristina confronted Molly about turning her in to the police, which naturally led to another argument about the baby. Hearing their mother was being questioned without a lawyer, Molly insisted her sister confess, but Kristina argued she couldn’t confess to something she didn’t do! Kristina questioned Michael, who urged her not to try and find the real killer. Molly warned Sonny to stay away from Alexis’ bail hearing or he’d just make things worse. Kristina wanted to confess that she went to the Quartermaine mansion that night and didn’t go through with killing Jagger, but Alexis insisted that wouldn’t help anybody. At the hearing, the judge decided to deny bail and remanded Alexis to Pentonville to await trial. She then found herself cellmates with Heather! Sam told Dante she was determined to find the gun Alexis tossed to clear her name. Sonny hired Martin to represent Alexis in court and the attorney vowed he’d win.
Drew Teamed up With Nina
Tracy scolded Sasha for holding parties on the family property and wasting her talent but Sasha turned it around on her and accused her of playing favorites. Nina wanted to hire Sasha to cater a fundraiser for Drew, but Sasha was reluctant to make Tracy any angrier. Sasha revealed to Willow what she saw the Fourth of July, and Willow confessed her feelings for Drew conflicting with her love for Michael. Sasha urged her friend to continue avoiding Drew and focus on her family. When Drew worried his campaign was failing, Nina suggested she could appear on his arm and look like a new power couple. On a night out at The Savoy, Nina advised Drew to step back from Aurora to focus on the campaign, so he asked Curtis to be acting CEO. When Willow arrived with Michael, she immediately wanted to leave to avoid Drew, but he warned her that would look more suspicious. Â
Ric Tried Again With Liz
Sonny was angry to find out that Ric was representing Ava in the custody battle and after a bitter argument with his brother, warned Ava Ric would eventually turn on her. Ric informed Heather that her case wouldn’t be going forward because the blood tests showed negligible change in her cobalt levels. However, he later asked Liz to look at results from an independent lab and the nurse agreed they were seriously different and he should have Heather’s blood tested again. Ric thanked Liz for her help by buying her coffee but she made it clear that they would never be more than friends.
Around Port Charles
Stella suggested it was time for Trina to get on with her life and she agreed to re-enroll at PCU for the fall semester to continue her studies. Sam brought Kristina to the hospital where she met with Felicia and discussed grief services the hospital could offer her. Cyrus visited Lulu and promised to help her. Dante found the flower he’d left and told a nurse strangers shouldn’t be visiting his ex-wife. He was surprised when Rocco arrived at the hospital and joined him for a visit with his mother. Jordan bought lunch for Isaiah at Bobbie’s and kicked Cyrus out of his room when she arrived. Isaiah was grateful for the meal… and the company! Michael and Ned argued about Valentin being on the run and how it could effect ELQ and Lois and Willow tried to calm them down. After Willow and Michael left, Lois tried to get Ned to ease up on Sonny but he just walked out after complaining he missed her accent. Gio checked on Lois and he admitted he had a hard time believing the bad things he hears about Sonny.Â
