The future is uncertain in these GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers! Olivia gets a shock, Brook Lynn blasts Valentin, not everyone is excited about Peter and Maxie’s engagement, Cyrus makes a move, and Carly tries to reassure a worried Sonny.
When Dante returned to Port Charles, he wanted to make sure he broke the news to his mother, and now Olivia bursts into tears at the sight of him and can’t believe her eyes. “Are you really here?” she gasps.
Robert is still trying to figure out a way to expose Peter’s crimes so he’s certainly not happy to hear that Maxie is engaged to marry the guy. “Excuse me for being overprotective,” he grouses. Maxie is also disappointed by Spinelli’s reaction to her big news and doesn’t understand why he can’t accept she loves Peter. “Can’t that be enough for you?” she cries.
Anna thinks she’s got a way to prove whether or not she is really Peter’s mother, but Finn warns her to be careful. “I think Peter should hear about this from you,” he urges. And Peter as over at the Floating Rib having a drink with Jackie. “The story — and you — are worth it,” he grins.
With no home and no job anymore, Brooklyn believes she can trace all her woes back to when she agreed to sell her ELQ shares to Valentin. As she confronts the guy, Chase stands by as backup, but Valentin seems unbothered by her accusations. “Methinks the lady doth protest too much,” he snarks.
Cyrus continues trying to lure Brando over to his side, hoping that getting the charges against him dropped will help. “I could use you on my team,” Cyrus declares. But would Brando really betray the Corinthos family by siding with their enemy? Meanwhile, Sonny is at home thinking about what happened to Mike and how painful it was to watch his father fade away like that. “Is it gonna happen to me?” he wonders aloud to Carly. Can she offer her husband any kind of reassurance?
