GH Spoilers 8/25/22: Are Drew and Carly Making a Mistake?

Actions have consequences in these GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers! Finn and Liz get spontaneous, Nikola vows to protect his family as Victor makes moves on Ava, Obrecht pushes Nina to take action, Olivia demands help from Sonny, and Drew and Carly react to their spontaneous kiss!

Things have been a little tense between Finn and Liz of late, but he’s determined to change all that with a little spontaneous romance. “Ooh, I like to be taken by surprise,” Liz purrs with a smile. Of course, once he finds out he’s been going behind her back to contact her family, she’ll change her tune!

At the stables, Spencer is brooding over heading to Pentonville but Nikolas promises his son that he’ll never stop trying to help him. “I won’t give up on Ava or you,” he vows. Of course, Ava has basically given up on him after he slept with Esme, but she still has to maintain the facade that their marriage remains intact. At least she’s got Victor to distract her right now! “We can either be enemies or family,” he threatens. Which will Ava choose?

Relaxing by the pool, Nina opens up to Obrecht, who offers some advice. “Ride to the rescue yourself,” she urges. Nina looks intrigued by the idea, but will she listen? Should she listen?

It looks like things at the Quartermaine charity picnic have taken a turn because Olivia is on the phone in a panic trying to do damage control. With Sonny standing nearby, she shouts at her ex: “You’ve got people! Do something!” But what’s the problem, and is it something Sonny can fix?

It might be the “love potion” Leo mixed up but it also might just be the sparks that have been flying between Drew and Carly for ages that finally inspired them to give in and finally share a kiss. “You have no idea how many times I’ve pictured this,” he confesses, holding her face in his hands and staring into her eyes. For her part, Carly seems a little shaken by the kiss, but is that because she’s regretting it or because she’s surprised by how much she liked it?
