GENERAL HOSPITAL Spoilers 8/26/21: Is Carly Having Second Thoughts?

Tensions are rising in these GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers! Brook Lynn stands her ground as Michael ponders the alternatives, Finn offers Chase a friendly ear, Peter has Nina trapped, Britt wants to celebrate, and Carly admits to Maxie she’s feeling unsure.

Brook Lynn was adamant that Austin be kept out of the Quartermaine business, and she was furious when Michael handed over the evidence the doctor needed. “I can’t tell if you’re joking or not,” she snarks. But Michael wants to break the cycle of backstabbing and betrayal. “Would it really be the end of the world?” he suggests.

Chase’s world hasn’t ended, but his marriage has, now that he and Willow split up so she can be with the man she actually loves. And Finn is there to listen to his brother and offer some advice. “If you could go back and do things different, would you?” he asks. Does Chase regret his decisions?

In Nixon Falls, Peter has decided to stick around and warns Nina she’d better play along or he’ll expose the truth about her and Sonny. “An eye for an eye, Nina,” he hisses. And in the Tan-O, “Mike” has no idea who Peter really is as he asks, “What kind of project?” 

Britt’s life has been turned upside down, with her budding romance with Jason cut short so he can marry Carly and being forced to act as co-chief of staff at the hospital with Terry. However, sitting with her mother, Britt finds a silver lining in the dark clouds hanging over her. “And that is something to celebrate!” she smiles at Obrecht.

While Jax remains strongly opposed to Jason and Carly’s upcoming marriage, Josslyn is one of the few who are actually on their side. “He’s just wrong about this,” the teen admits to Jason. But as she plans the big day with Maxie, Carly admits: “This feels really weird, and I don’t know why.” Is it just a typical case of wedding jitters, or is Carly realizing she’s making a terrible mistake?
