General Hospital Spoilers 8/6/24: Can Morgan Save Sonny?

Sonny is on the edge in today’s General Hospital spoilers! Carly reassures Donna, Brick has some bad news, Laura has some good news, Ava’s story is already falling apart, Jason worries about Sonny, and on the hospital roof, Sonny stands on the ledge and prepares to jump!

Donna is disappointed she didn’t get to see her father today. “Why didn’t Daddy come for a play date?” she asks her mother. Carly’s face falls as she tries to figure out how to explain this in a way Donna can understand.

Brick takes a call as a tailor works on fitting his suit. “You’re no longer inside the circle of trust,” he informs the person on the other end of the line. Who has been cut out?

Being mayor is a tough job but it’s not all bad, as Laura discovers. “Sometimes it pays to be in politics,” she tells Kevin with a slight smile. 

Ava has been sticking to her story about Kristina’s fall being an accident, and while that’s technically true, her efforts to hide John’s bag and fake evidence to reinforce her story seem to have backfired on her. “We have proof you weren’t quite truthful in your statement,” Anna informs her as Chase stands by her side.

At the hospital, Jason gets an update on Kristina’s fall and Ava’s involvement and begins to worry. “Are you worried that Sonny’s going to go after Ava?” he asks Dante.

But Sonny is up on the roof of the hospital remembering how everyone in his life has turned their backs on him. He steps up on the ledge and looks down. However, he’s not alone. “You’re not here,” Sonny says, waving his hand and not looking to his side. “You’re just my imagination.” But even if Morgan is just in Sonny’s head, maybe he can still save his father’s life?
