GH Spoilers 12/30/21: Sonny Confesses His True Feelings!

Not everyone is having a happy new year in these GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers! Curtis is ready to make a move, Drew gets some good news, Martin gets suspicious, Valentin opens up to Anna, Obrecht defends herself, Carly wants answers, and Dante gets the truth out of Sonny!

As they prepare to ring in the new year at his swanky club, Curtis has a proposal for Portia. “I would like for us to be closer,” he confesses. Is she on the same page where their budding relationship is concerned?

Drew stops by to visit Scout, who is wearing her 2022 novelty glasses as she waits for the new year to begin. And she has something to ask her dad. “Will you stay until midnight?” she wonders. Drew has been struggling to reconnect with his family, so this is the perfect opportunity to do so!

Martin and Lucy are enjoying the party, but his questions kind of put a damper on things. “Why do you need to know about Valentin?” she asks him. Meanwhile, over at Kelly’s, Valentin doesn’t seem in any mood to party as he opens up to Anna. “I think I’m over it,” he declares, “and I think you are, too.”

Nina was furious that her and Sonny’s relationship in Nixon Falls was exposed at the hearing, throwing everything into chaos, and having found out that it was Obrecht who spilled the secret to Scott, she confronts her aunt about ruining everything. “On the contrary,” Liesl insists. “I saved it.”

Carly is still reeling from the discovery that Sonny had a secret relationship with Nina that he kept hidden from her, and wants to make sure no one else is keeping secrets. “Did Nina ask you to keep her and Sonny’s secret?” she asks.

And with Sonny on the outs with Carly, Dante offers his father a shoulder to lean on as he tries to understand exactly where his heart lies. “But you felt something?” he inquires. Sonny takes a deep breath and sighs, “Yeah.” Is there any way he can make things right with Carly? And what will he do about Nina?
