GENERAL HOSPITAL Spoilers 2/16/21: Sonny Remembers!
As Sonny’s loved ones remember him in these GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers, he’s remembering something himself! Plus, Nina gets angry, Alexis stands defiant, and Laura blasts Cyrus!
Nina was already heartbroken to discover the identity of her long-lost daughter after Nelle was already dead, but now she’s overheard Jax and Carly discuss their involvement with covering up her fatal fall. “It wasn’t fate that took you from me,” Nina hisses as she visits Nelle’s grave in the cemetery. But how will she take her revenge?
Alexis may be trying to put on a good show, but her daughters can see right through her. And after Molly caught her taking a drink before they head to Sonny’s funeral, the alcoholic is in no mood for a lecture from her children. “Go ahead,” she slurs. “Let me have it.” Can anyone get through to her?
At the hospital, Brando stands nearby as Cyrus makes an offer to Laura. “So that’s the price for Sonny’s family to grieve in peace?” she asks. How far can Cyrus push her before he goes too far?
With everyone gathering together for Sonny’s memorial, it’s causing some uncomfortable conversations. “Is this really okay?” Sasha asks Michael. And Jason tells Sam, “I’m glad you’re here.” Eventually, everyone sits to grieve the loss of the man who they all knew and loved. “How do we say goodbye to a man like that,” Carly says to the crowd as tears stream down her face.
Of course, what no one at the funeral knows is that Sonny is alive and well, living with no memory of his former life! After recognizing the signs and getting “Mike” diagnosed as bipolar, Phyllis hoped that balancing his mood swings with medication might also help bring back his memories. And now it seems like it might have worked! “I remembered someone,” Sonny declares. But who?
