General Hospital Spoilers 2/2/23: Heather Warns Esme!

Important encounters are happening in these GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers! Maxie wants good news, Jordan settles an issue, Laura surprises Finn, Liz blasts Nikolas, Obrecht is curious, Nina says goodbye, Spencer shares his plan with Sonny, and Heather tries to stop Esme from making a big mistake!

Maxie is sitting in Kelly’s with Sasha, who is trying to comfort her friend on the day of Britt’s memorial. And when someone approaches their table with something to say, Maxie remarks: “I could really use some good news.”

Jordan’s suspicion that Portia is keeping a massive secret from Curtis has been weighing heavily on her lately. So when she tells someone, “I’m glad we got this cleared up,” is she talking about that issue or something else entirely?

When Finn is surprised by what Laura tells him, she adds, “It was Elizabeth’s idea.” And elsewhere in the hospital, Nikolas tries to talk to Liz in private, but she’s done listening to him. “The only thing I need protecting from is you,” she hisses as she storms off.

As Britt’s family and friends gather together for her memorial, Obrecht is curious about one of the guests. “Why did you come here?” she asks someone. And Nina is heartbroken to have lost yet another family member. “You will never, ever be forgotten,” she promises as she looks heavenward.

Sitting in the chapel, Spencer confides in Sonny about his plans for Nikolas and Esme’s baby. “I’m more convinced my father shouldn’t be anywhere near that child,” he argues. Will Sonny try to talk him out of it, or perhaps lend his support?

And at Spring Ridge, Esme is sitting with the papers that Nikolas gave her to sign when Heather approaches and immediately steps in to prevent her daughter from giving away her child. “Not so fast,” she warns Esme. But will Esme listen to her?
