General Hospital Spoilers 1/4/22: Is Luke Really Dead?

In these new GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers, confessions are being made all over Port Charles! Curtis has something important to tell Portia, Ned has a surprise for Brook Lynn, Drew admits to needing to sort some things out, Valentine gives Nikolas and Ava a warning, and Laura is dreading sharing heartbreaking news with Bobbie!

Having started the new year off by taking their relationship to the next level, Curtis wakes up the following morning with Portia in his bed and the urge to declare something in his heart. “I have something I’ve wanted to say to you all morning,” he admits. Has Curtis been working himself up to say those three little words to his girlfriend, or does he have something else in mind for their pillow talk?

Over at the Quartermaine mansion, Ned has a surprise to share with Brook Lynn and, based upon the smile he shares with Olivia, we’re guessing it’s got to be good! “It’s my time to make it official,” he announces as a smiling Brook Lynn rubs baby Bailey’s back.

Out in the foyer, Drew checks in with Monica, filling her in on the events of the last few days, like his heart-to-heart with Carly on the footbridge. Is Monica worried that Drew may get caught up in an entanglement with Jason’s best friend? “I’ve got unsettled business of my own that I’ve got to deal with,” he reassures his mother.

Meanwhile, Nikolas finds himself caught up in two conversations today that he’d probably rather not be a part of! First up, Nikolas looks rather uneasy when Shawn tells him that he’s to thank for the ex-con’s new life as the publisher of the Invader. “In a sense,” Butler says, “this is all possible because of you.” Later, Nikolas and Ava run into Uncle Victor at the Metro Court restaurant, and the elder Cassadine has a dire warning for the couple. “The winds of change are coming, my dears,” Victor says slyly. Is he referring to Peter having woken up, or something even more sinister?

Finally, after getting the bombshell news from Tracy just after midnight on New Year’s Eve that Luke is “gone,” Laura knows that she has to update Bobbie about her brother. With concern etched all over her face, Bobbie reaches out for her former sister-in-law’s hands, wondering what has Laura so distraught. “Something terrible has happened, hasn’t it?” Bobbie asks. Is Luke gone as in… missing? Or (gasp!) is he dead?
