GENERAL HOSPITAL Spoilers 7/2/21: Michael Questions Carly’s Engagement!
Confrontations abound in these GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers! Curtis questions Portia’s behavior, Ava demands answers from Jordan, Cameron snaps at Josslyn, and Michael calls out Carly and Jason’s sudden engagement! Meanwhile, Kevin reassures Laura that Nikolas has things under control, Jax fills in Nina on Carly’s marriage plans, and Britt checks on an old friend.
Once again, Portia made yet another excuse to scurry away from Curtis. Has he had enough of the doctor avoiding him? “I’m beginning to think that it’s intentional,” he says to Portia at Trina’s graduation party at The Savoy. Meanwhile, fed up with her stalker’s antics, Ava corners Jordan and puts the screws to the police commissioner when she sees her at one of the parties. “Tell me, what are you doing about it?” Ava demands.
Little does Ava know that Nikolas may caught the stalker himself! After Nik ran out of Cameron’s graduation party to check on the cameras he set off at the gallery, Kevin shares with Laura that she may not have to worry about the situation with her son and daughter-in-law much longer. “That trap,” Kevin informs his wife, “may have been sprung.”
Ticked that Jason broke things off with her, Britt turns to an old friend for support: Brad! “You have no idea how much I miss you,” she says when she checks in with her bestie at Pentonville.
Even though Cameron was relieved that Joss showed up at Charlie’s for his party, he’s growing more and more frustrated by the distance between them lately. But what happens during the celebration that pushes these two teenagers to the limit? “This is not at all what you think!” an aggravated Cameron yells at Josslyn in the hallway of the bar. Is their friendship too far gone to be repaired, or might this confrontation be a turning point in their young lives?
After storming out of Josslyn’s graduation part at Carly’s house, Jax heads to the Metro Court and unloads the news he just heard on a stunned Nina. “Carly and Jason,” he tells her, “are getting married.”
Back at the Corinthos estate, Michael isn’t quite buying what Carly is selling when it comes to why she and Jason have decided to tie the knot. Not believing for a second that their union is because they are both lonely and struggling since Sonny’s death, Michael demands that his mother and uncle tell him the truth. “I do doubt that that’s the reason why you have to get married,” he declares.
