General Hospital Spoilers 3/17/23: Trouble for Nina and Sonny?

Things are getting complicated in these GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers! Laura stands firm, Lucy holds out hope, Diane has good news, Robert plans his next step, Victor warns Eileen, Carly has a reminder for Sonny, Dex springs into action, and Phyllis questions Nina about her future with Sonny.

“Life is full of surprises,” Laura declares. But is she taunting Victor again? And what other surprises might she have in store for the Cassadine villain?

Lucy was already going stir-crazy hiding in the safe house to keep everyone else believing that she’s dead, but now that the plans for the anniversary Nurses Ball are underway, she’s more desperate than ever to get back to her old life. “Tell me there’s an end to this nightmare,” she begs.

Diane appears in Robert’s doorway with some potentially good news. “I’m about to make your day,” she announces with a sly smile. Is this about Trina dropping the charges against Esme? Because Robert seems a little unsure of his next move. “What do you suggest I do?” he asks.

In an exam room at the hospital, it appears that the deputy mayor is eager to cut all ties with Victor, but he’s not quite ready to let her go quite yet. “Why on Earth would you be done?” he chuckles.

Carly has no love for Nina but she’s still tied to Sonny and she knows him better than most. “We both know you can’t make that promise,” she reminds him. Meanwhile, Dex hears a noise and pulls out his gun. Who’s after him now?

Nina fell in love with Sonny when he was just Mike the bartender, and although she’s continued their relationship since returning to Port Charles, the recent assassination attempt on his life has her nervous about their future. And Phyllis pays her friend a visit to offer some advice. “Is this a relationship you can sustain?” she wonders. Will the danger of Sonny’s business prove too much for Nina to handle?
