General Hospital Spoilers 9/17/21: Sonny Remembers!

Sonny remembers his love in these GENERAL HOSPITAL spoilers even as she’s marrying another man! Carly and Jason tie the knot as drama surrounds the wedding while Sonny calls out for her as the Tan-O burns down around him!

“Speak now or forever hold your peace,” declares the minister as Carly and Jason stand before him and their gathered family and friends at the church. And it doesn’t appear that anyone objects to the union and they are pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Jason Morgan!

Following the ceremony, Diane and Spinelli continue to discuss this unusual turn of events that found Carly marrying Jason after Sonny’s death. “She would not have approved of today’s events,” he admits. Is he talking about Ellie, who left him because of his continued involvement in the Corinthos mob activities?

Olivia has been putting up a fight after Austin suggested that Leo could have some communications issues and might require additional tests, so Ned is naturally surprised when his wife gives in. Although it would appear to be in regards to Carly and Jason’s union, not her son! “Are you saying you approve?” Ned asks, surprised.

Gladys is enjoying being Vincent Novak’s plus one at the wedding, but Brando continues to remind his mother that he has put the criminal underworld behind him for the sake of his baby on the way. “The Novaks make me worry,” he insists.

Jax tried to reach Maxie to warn her that Peter was on the loose and after James, but obviously, she wasn’t going to pick up her phone during the wedding ceremony that she organized! So now, outside the church, she shares her confusion with Austin. “I have to wonder why Jax was calling me,” she muses.

Because in Nixon Falls, Peter set fire to the Tan-O and disappeared, so he could be anywhere! Phyllis and Nina were rescued, but “Mike” is still trapped in the burning bar. Of course, after having flashes of memories, it would appear that he’s actually Sonny once more! “Carly!” he cries out as he lays on the floor of the bar amidst the inferno. And outside, Nina is growing frustrated at the firemen’s lack of progress. “We have to get Sonny out before it’s too late!” she shouts.
