General Hospital Spoilers: Holly Returns!

As one character makes their exit in this week’s General Hospital spoilers, another returns to the canvas! With John dead, a murder investigation begins and Sonny quickly arranges an alibi to cover his tracks. Plus, Lucky’s situation becomes even more complicated when a familiar face joins him in Africa!

After the storm clears out, it doesn’t take long for John’s body to be discovered at the Quartermaine boathouse. “Agent Cates is dead,” Chase announces. Anna adds: “He was shot.” As a police photographer snaps pics of the crime scene, Michael looks on nervously.

Inside the house, the family is stunned to hear the shocking news. “And everyone here is gonna need to be questioned,” Chase warns. The Q’s have a pretty full house given that everyone was coming together for a family dinner. But of course, Nina’s eyes immediately flash over to Sonny, who exchanges a look with Carly.

Because Sonny is relying on Carly to be his alibi for the time of the shooting! “If anybody asks,” he privately tells Carly, “we’ve been up here for the last half hour.” Concerned Carly asks, “Why?” As his wife, Carly spent years protecting Sonny, but is she still willing to put her neck on the line for him now?

In Africa, Lucky is playing cards with Sidwell when someone quite unexpected enters the room. “Well,” the mercenary leader says with a smile as he looks up from his hand. “Hello, darling,” comes a familiar voice that makes Lucky sit up straight in his chair as his eyes widen. Even without turning around, he knows that Holly Sutton is standing behind him. But how is she involved in all of this? And can he maintain his cover with her in the mix?
