GENERAL HOSPITAL Threw Theo and Erik Olson the Cutest Birthday Party!
Technically GENERAL HOSPITAL cuties Theo and Erik Olson (Wiley) celebrated their third birthday on Feb. 2, but the soap threw the twins a little set-side party the next day and shared the video on Instagram! “It’s all work and… some play over here at GH,” the soap shared on social media. “Please help us wish a belated happy birthday to Erik and Theo Olson.”
In the video, Laura Wright (Carly) sits on the couch in the Quartermaine living room set as Cynthia Watros (Nina), Chad Duell (Michael), and Katelyn MacMullen (Willow) stand off to the side. Stagehands bring two big blue gift bags and a cake with candles on it to place on the coffee table in front of the birthday boys. Since they take turns playing Wiley, Theo and Erik are wearing matching pajamas, although they picked out different face masks. A crew member then accessorizes their outfits further with a little crown for each of them to wear.
As everyone sings “Happy Birthday” to the boys, things get a little cacophanous as not everyone said the twins’ names in the same order. And while one of them quickly realized that they needed to slip their mask down for a bit in order to blow out the candles, the other didn’t and it nearly turned dangerous as he kept getting closer and closer trying to blow through the fabric! Thankfully, Watros leans in to help out before he caught fire!
“OMG thank you, GH, for sharing this super-duper special memory!” the twins — well, their parents who manage their Instagram account — replied. “Thank you again for making our birthday so memorable! We love you, GH family!”
