Viewers had a heads-up about the new Georgie in the May 2 episode, but then it turned out that there was also a new Aiden on General Hospital that day! The role of Liz’s youngest son is now being played by Tristan Riggs. “Excited to join the GH family!” he posted on Instagram the day after his first episode aired.

Whereas the Georgie recast is said to be only temporary, Soap Opera Digest is reporting that the Aiden recast will be permanent, and the previous portrayer, Enzo De Angelis, will not be returning.

When Aiden Webber was born back in 2010, he was played by a series of twins as an infant and toddler. From 2011-12, the role was played by Titus Jackson, the real-life son of Jonathan Jackson, who played Lucky, the boy’s father. Then, Jason David stepped in and played Aiden until March 2021. In August of that year, GH recast with De Angelis, who last aired on May 1, with Riggs taking over the role suddenly in the following episode.

Born in St. Louis and raised in Austin, TX, Riggs has appeared in series like The Leftovers, The Long Road Home, Sesame Street, Walker, and True Lies. He can also be seen in movies like Blood Fest, Alita: Battle Angel, and The Seventh Day. GH marks the young actor’s daytime debut.

With Liz currently worried that Aiden is being bullied at school again, the character should have quite a bit of screen time coming up, so Riggs will have his work cut out for him. Please join us in welcoming him to Port Charles and wishing him all the best!
