GH’s Brook Kerr Celebrates Her Second Anniversary!

Please join us in congratulating Brook Kerr, who is celebrating her second anniversary playing Portia on GENERAL HOSPITAL! “Somebody’s had an anniversary and I cannot believe it’s been two years that I have been able to play Dr. Portia Robinson,” she declared on Instagram. “This ride has been so exhilarating and surreal.

“I still get so excited getting my new scripts to see what I get to play,” the actress added. “I appreciate the GH family for welcoming me to the party! Many more shenanigans to come!”

Kerr also made a point of giving a shout-out to GH make-up team member Jacklyn Quackenbush for helping her look so stunning in her dressing room selfie. “Let’s not forget my stellar make-up artist for always making me look and feel beautiful!” she gushed.

The actress made her daytime debut back in 1999 playing Whitney Russell Harris on the NBC sudser PASSIONS from its first episode right up until its end in 2007. After making primetime appearances in series like CSI: MIAMI, NCIS: LOS ANGELES, WESTWORLD, and HAWAII FIVE-0, Kerr returned to daytime in 2020 when she joined the cast of GH as Dr. Portia Robinson, debuting in the March 5 episode.

Over the past two years, Portia has treated numerous patients at the hospital while also dealing with plenty of drama at home. She’s fiercely protective of her daughter, Trina, although the revelation that she had an affair with Curtis while married to Taggert caused some fans to question the teenager’s true paternity. And although Jordan seems to have found happiness in her rekindled relationship with Curtis, Jordan’s return to Port Charles promises to throw a monkey wrench into that whole thing since she’s not actually his ex-wife as everyone believes!
