GH’s Jophielle Love on Violet and Tracy’s Tea Party
Fans loved the sweet tea party scenes between Violet and Tracy on the Aug. 13 episode of General Hospital, and naturally, so did the two actresses involved!
“I love this new relationship between Tracy and Violet,” Jophielle Love (Violet) declared on Instagram, sharing the super cute backstage photo seen above. “It’s hard not to have my favorite people around anymore and so I hope that I get to hang out more with Jane [Elliot, Tracy]! She is so great!”
Love made her daytime debut as Finn and Hayden’s daughter, Violet Finn, back in October 2019, and viewers have watched the little girl grow up on screen and steal hearts (and scenes) left and right! When Michael Easton left GH and his character, Finn, was sent off to rehab, many fans worried that we would lose Love’s Violet as well.
Thankfully, that has not been the case, and Chase and Brook Lynn continue looking after the girl with the help of everyone else at the Quartermaine mansion where they are all living together. That includes the normally acerbic Tracy, who has shown a much softer side of late, especially in her sweet tea party scene with Violet.
When Violet marveled at how it was the most beautiful tea set she’d ever seen, Tracy explained that it belonged to her mother, Lila. Naturally, the conversation also included Violet mentioning that the house is Monica’s because Alan gave it to her, which has been a running joke on the soap for decades!
Hopefully, Love gets her wish and she gets to work with the Daytime Emmy Award-winning Elliot a lot more in the future. Because with all the drama and heartbreak going on in Port Charles, sweet, tender scenes like the ones between Violet and Tracy are the perfect escape.
