Hayley Erin Wishes Girlfriend Chloe Lanier a Happy Birthday!
November 3 may feel like a regular day to most people but for GENERAL HOSPITAL alum Hayley Erin (ex-Kiki), it’s very special! “It’s my favorite holiday,” she exclaimed on Instagram sharing a series of photos. “Chloe Lanier (ex-Nelle) Day! (It’s her birthday.)
“These pictures really speak for themselves but I would like to add that she is the spaghetti to my meatball, the Bugs to my Daffy, and the art to my craft. Happy bday, beeyotch!” She also included the hashtag “#hats” which would seem to be an inside joke between the talented actresses.
In the photo gallery, Erin shared some selfies she’s taken with her girlfriend as well as Lanier wearing a curly red Annie wig and carrying an armful of Girl Scout Cookies. Unfortunately, with Erin now living in Ireland with her husband and her newborn twin girls, she and Lanier don’t get to see each other as often as they once did. But in the pics, there’s one of them standing together atop a hill overlooking a lake in the Irish countryside, so they clearly still do manage to see each other occasionally!
Lanier was touched by her gal pal’s heartfelt birthday message. “‘The art to my craft,’” she responded. “Hats hats hats and where to find them! You’re my favorite person. I love you.”
Lanier won over GH fans back in 2015 when she played a young Pat Spencer during the soap’s anniversary show, so it was a no-brainer when they brought her back to play the scheming Nelle Benson. Her wicked performances earned her a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actress in 2018, but Nelle’s evil meant she met a tragic fate in 2021.
While Lanier’s fans hope she’ll come back to Port Charles one day to stir up more trouble, they can still enjoy seeing her in other roles, like her recent appearance on NCIS: HAWAI’I. And please join Erin and us in wishing her a very happy birthday!
