Ingo Rademacher Is Moving!

Fans hoping for Ingo Rademacher to return to GENERAL HOSPITAL as Jax will be out of luck for the foreseeable future as the actor has moved to Florida with his wife, Ehiku, 14-year-old son Peanut, 10-year-old-son Pohaku, and one-year-old daughter Iwa.
“The last eight months or so have been filled with a lot of decision making,” Rademacher explained on Instagram. “One was to move, since not working on GH anymore. For a lot of reasons, but mainly quality of life.”
Rademacher last aired as Jasper “Jax” Jacks in November 2021 after he refused to comply with ABC/Disney’s vaccine mandate requiring the casts and crews of all productions be protected against the COVID-19 virus. Since exiting the soap, the actor has spent a lot of quality family time, and his family came first when they were looking to settle down elsewhere.

“Colorado Springs was high on the list,” Rademacher revealed, “and of course Hawaii, our place there. But that is just not near a swim team with excludes it with two kids who are making Junior Olympic cuts.”
So the Rademacher clan has headed East so that Peanut and Pohaku can continue their swim training and their dad can also look for acting gigs. “I will try my luck a little further East closer to Nashville and Atlanta for work,” he explained. “But for now, we are just settling into our new life in Panama City Beach, Florida.”
Well, having lived for years in Hawaii and California — with Rademacher even working as a lifeguard! — and with two kids developing into championship swimmers, you had to know this family was going to settle somewhere near the ocean!
