Soap vets — and real-life married couple — Jessica Morris and Rib Hillis will share the screen in Lifetime’s newest movie, Couples Retreat Murder!

In the all-new thriller, Morris plays Becky and Hillis plays Jim, a couple who head to a remote retreat in an attempt to save their marriage. Upon arriving, the pair awkwardly discover that one of the other attendees happens to be Becky’s college ex-boyfriend. Things for Becky and Jim only get worse when one of the guests goes missing and the retreat host is found dead — prompting the pair to wonder who else they are trapped with on the trip!

Couples Retreat Murder will debut on Lifetime on Sunday, July 7, at 8 p.m. ET, and will be available for streaming the following day. Back in March, the actress revealed that she and her real-life love were working on a project together in the desert, and shared in another post that their characters in the movie were at odds. “Some monitor shots and behind-the-scenes of me and Rib on set together,” she wrote on Instagram. “We may be sweeter to each other in real life than our characters are, so we needed to hug it out in between takes.”

Soap viewers remember Morris for her time playing Jennifer Rappaport on One Life To Live from 2001-05. Hillis, meanwhile, starred as Dr. Jake Marshak on the General Hospital spinoff Port Charles, from 1997-98, and also stepped in as a recast for Ethan on Passions in 2006 when Eric Martsolf took paternity leave. The couple, who recently celebrated their first anniversary on May 11, previously appeared together in Lifetime’s A Deadly Threat to My Family.

In addition to Morris and Hillis, Couples Retreat Murder stars Natalie Daniels, Corin Nemec, and Alex Trumble. Adam Huss (ex-Nikolas, GH) also appears in the film as Joel.
