Josh Kelly Dishes on One of His GENERAL HOSPITAL Co-Stars

Back in the day, W.C. Fields coined the phrase “never work with children or animals,” but GENERAL HOSPITAL newcomer Josh Kelly (Cody) would definitely disagree with that sentiment. The actor confides that he’s had no problems working alongside Leche, the horse who plays the Quartermaine stable’s star resident, Comet.

“He’s a super-chill, super-sweet horse,” Kelly reported in a recent issue of Soap Opera Digest. “I’m really grateful that in the past couple of years, I’ve actually been working with horses a lot, which is kind of fortuitous for this role.

“Because if you know how to work with a horse and you feel comfortable with horses, they tend to be comfortable with you,” he continued. “And so, when we’ve been doing scenes, all I have to do is hold his lead and he’s totally engaged and cool with me.”

And as for working with kids, Kelly has no complaints there, either, having shared some wonderful scenes with pint-sized GH charmer Easton Rocket Sweda, who plays Leo. “I’ve been trying to teach him the Rubik’s Cube,” he revealed. “I’ve gotten to hang out with him and get to know him a bit and he’s a really sweet kid.”

Although Cody has been struggling to settle in and find his place in Port Charles, it sounds like Kelly has been having no problems at all making GH his new home!
