Congratulations to GENERAL HOSPITAL alum Julie Berman (ex-Lulu) who is celebrated her anniversary with husband Michael Grady on Aug. 16! “I”m a lucky gal,” she wrote on Instagram with a photo of her handsome hubby. “12 years official today. Pretty sure he was laughing at something I said when this photo was taken which basically epitomizes our relationship.
“I’ve been keeping us afloat here with all the jokes and joy,” Berman continued before quickly adding, “Okay, fine, he’s the fun and the silly and the serious and the patience and basically the full-on heart in my life. I thank him for choosing me then and now (and also appreciate the sense of humor along the way, too.) Happy 12, babish!”
Berman is still beloved by many GH fans for her turn as Lulu Spencer from 2005-13 that earned her three Daytime Emmy Awards — two for Younger Actress and one for Supporting Actress. After leaving daytime, the actress was cast as Leia on the Hulu comedy series CASUAL, and Dr. Samantha “Sam” Zanetti on NBC’s CHICAGO MED. She can also be seen in the Hallmark movie Love on Ice.
Berman and Grady were married back in 2008 and the couple welcomed their first child, son Asher Dean Grady, in February 2019. Please join us in wishing the happy couple a hearty congratulations on their 12th anniversary and a lifetime of happiness together!
