Please join us in congratulating Kimberly J. Brown on her engagement to Daniel Kountz! “Have I introduced you guys to my fiancé?” the actress teased on Instagram sharing a selfie of her and her beau where she’s also showing off her beautiful diamond engagement ring. Naturally, she also added the hashtag: “#isaidyes.”
Kountz shared an announcement on his own Instagram that includes multiple fun selfies of the couple swirling around in a short video. “She said yes!” he enthused. “Gunna love you forever.”
Brown made her daytime debut as Marah Lewis on CBS sudser GUIDING LIGHT and played the character from 1993-98, earning a Daytime Emmy nomination for her work. In 2021, she returned to soaps to play Peter’s henchwoman, nurse Chloe Jennings for a brief-but-memorable stint on GENERAL HOSPITAL that did not end well for the villainous character! Viewers might also recognize her from her popular role of Marnie Piper in the first three Halloweentown Disney movies.
Kountz, who is also an actor, starred with Brown in Halloweentown II: Kalabar’s Revenge back in 2001, though their romance didn’t begin until much later. Brown revealed that it was about 10 years later, in fact, that they reconnected to film some comedy sketches for her YouTube channel and “unexpectedly fell in love!”
All our best to the happy couple and we’re looking forward to some beautiful wedding pics in the future!
