Lydia Look Is Taking a Break From GENERAL HOSPITAL
Britt and Brad aren’t supposed to be hanging out but it’s okay right now because Lydia Look is taking a little time off from GENERAL HOSPITAL so Selina won’t be around to get angry that they’re disobeying her orders!
“The end of the year is when I always go visit my mother in Singapore,” Look shared with Soap Opera Digest. So when the ABC soap inquired as to her availability to work, the actress had to ask them to “please wait for me” because “December/January is always family time… and that comes first.”
Look first appeared as Ms. Wu back in August 2015. After a handful of sporadic appearances during meetings of the Five Families, the actress was “thrilled” when she found her role increasing in late 2021. During that time, Selina used her connections with Sonny as another head of a Port Charles crime family to ask him to help get her nephew, Brad Cooper, out on parole. And she also made it clear to Britt that she considered her a bad influence and wanted her nowhere near Brad.
However, Look promises that she “will be back” just as soon as her vacation is over, so fans can look forward to Selina’s return. And since Britt hasn’t been listening to her warnings, Ms. Wu will definitely have something to say about her hanging out with Brad. Plus, there’s the fact that she ordered her nephew to poison Peter in exchange for Sonny’s help in getting him out of prison!
