GENERAL HOSPITAL

Meet GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Very Special Guest Star!

The Sept. 27 episode of GENERAL HOSPITAL had a very special guest appearance by 99-year old Felicia Tabbi, a longtime fan of the soap! “She’s been watching GH since our first episode in 1963,” the soap announced. “Keep an eye out for her during today’s all-new GH!”

Of course, if you missed her walk-on role (really more of a “roll-on” given that she’s in a wheelchair!), it’s perfectly understandable as Tabbi appeared on-screen briefly as her health aide, Aida Serrano pushed her down the hospital corridor in front of Michael Easton’s Finn and Josh Swickard’s Chase. The actors joined Cassandra James (Terry) and Rebecca Herbst (Liz) to pose with Serrano, Tabbi, and her daughter, Cheryl, for the group photo you see above to commemorate her appearance on her much-loved soap.

As a bonus, Tabbi also enjoyed a very special guest at her birthday/viewing party — GH actor Parry Shen (Brad)! “As an early birthday present, her daughter reached out on social media to get her mom a ‘roll-on’ role and it happened!” he explained. “Word got to me that her screening party was local, so I hopped in for a bit to say ‘Hi’ and welcome her into the GH family. I knew her favorite was Jason, so I dressed in all black to represent! Congrats, Felicia, and happy belated birthday!”

Naturally, due to the soap’s taping schedule, Tabbi would have reported to the ABC studio about a month ago to shoot her scene, but the day that the episode aired, there was a special viewing party full of guests, refreshments (love the ambulance-topped cupcakes!), and fun! (We’re sure they rewound to rewatch Tabbi’s appearance more than a few times!)

Please join us in wishing Tabbi a very happy 99th birthday and congratulating her on her daytime debut!
