Nancy Lee Grahn Welcomes James Patrick Stuart and Michelle Stafford to ‘Soaps In Quarantine’

During this time of self-distancing and isolation, some stars are using social media in creative new ways to reach out and connect with fans and friends. GENERAL HOSPITAL star Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) has created “Soaps In Quarantine,” a new YouTube show with pal Kaore Bonell. And the first episode has special guests James Patrick Stuart (Valentin) and Michelle Stafford (ex-Nina; now Phyllis, THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS)!

Back in 2018, Grahn and Bonell teamed up to bring fans GH NOW, a casual talk show where she interviewed some of her GH castmates but this time around the chat is happening over webcams as everyone is isolated in their own homes. “All of our studios are shut down, appropriately so,” Grahn said. “But we’re all sitting home with nothing to do and because we’re actors or writers or performers, we don’t have an audience. So we need to do this!” The actress laughed as she joked that she was walking around her house doing monologues. “And it’s just not as fun if nobody’s watching!”

After some back and forth banter, the pair welcome Stuart and Stafford to the group chat as they discuss how they’re keeping their sanity during these difficult times. They also talk about GH and Y&R, and reveal some backstage secrets and gossip! (Although some adult language is used occasionally, so be warned — they don’t hold back!)

Check out the first episode to enjoy some laughs, and stay tuned for the next episode to see who the next celebrity guests might be! And for more from your favorite daytime stars, keep reading Soaps In Depth magazine.
