Réal Andrews Surprises a GH Fan at Home — See the Amazing Video!

Viewers were happy to be proven right that Taggert wasn’t dead on GENERAL HOSPITAL, and portrayer Réal Andrews declared that fans were the reason the character was brought back to the soap alive. The actor is hosting socially-distanced fan events in Birmingham, AL, and Memphis, TN, and when he learned a big fan of his was unable to attend, he took the party to her!

“I got a message from a Champion, an elderly lady, she’s in her 80s,” Andrews explained in the video he shared online, “And she said how much she wanted to come and see me but she was like, 3 1/2 hours away and she just had surgery and everything. So it was put on my heart to surprise her. So I did a little detour and I drove down here. I’m in Shelbyville, TN… I’m in the middle of nowhere. There’s just like cows and everything out here.”

As the video unfolds, Andrews parks his car and adds some smiling heart-eyed emojis to the screen before donning his mask and heading for Deborah’s home. And when the GH fan opens the door, the look of shock and delight on her face is absolutely worth the price of admission. And admission is free because you can watch the entire video right here!
