GENERAL HOSPITAL Plans to Return With New Episodes in August
Are you ready to return to Port Charles? GENERAL HOSPITAL is scheduled to begin airing brand new episodes starting on Monday, Aug. 3! The soap suspended production back in March and aired its last new episode on May 21. GH has been in reruns since then, airing classic shows centered around various themes like The Nurses Ball, Sonny and Carly, and Sam and Jason, but that’s over now!
On July 13, GH went back to begin re-airing episodes that were originally broadcast at the end of April with the intention of bringing audiences back up to where they left off. This schedule has the May 21 episode airing on Friday, July 31, and recently released teasers from ABC have brand-new episodes airing beginning on Monday, Aug. 3. With the actors having only just gone back to work the week of July 20, it could be tricky to get new episodes ready by then but not impossible!
Please remember that schedules are subject to change, but if everything goes according to plan, the drama will resume in full force the week of Aug. 3. We’re not going to spoil too much, but look for Ned and Olivia to clash, Valentin and Martin to plot together, Carly finding Sonny distraught, Willow and Michael growing closer, and Nelle demanding to see her son.
