The End of Cameron and Josslyn on GH? — Eden McCoy Speaks Out!
Josslyn and Cameron looked like the perfect young couple on GENERAL HOSPITAL, but after all the secrets and lies, it’s starting to look more like they’re headed for a breakup! Things haven’t been the same since Esme leaked the sex tape of their first time, plus, Joss wasn’t thrilled to find out that Cam knew about Spencer really being on Trina’s side instead of Esme’s during the whole ordeal.
“A lot of stuff has happened with her and Cam that has affected the relationship,” Eden McCoy (Josslyn) admitted to Soap Opera Digest. “She’s dealing with trust issues because he knew this entire other side of Spencer that he decided to keep from Joss.
“I don’t think things ever bounced back between them after the sex tape,” she continued. “You go through a trauma like that and dynamics change. They haven’t shared that same intimacy because I think Josslyn, and maybe Cam, still feels so scared and so violated and she associates being intimate with him with a scary thing now. Which is really hard to deal with when you’re 19-year-olds in a relationship and there are so many unspoken wounds.”
Plus, there’s Josslyn’s newfound attraction towards Dex that’s further complicating matters. Especially since she’s keeping Cameron completely in the dark about what’s happening there! “I think she does feel guilty about it,” McCoy allowed, “but I think she’s also a bit put out by Cam’s behavior. She’s constantly like, ‘Cam did this, so it’s fine that I’m doing that.’ I think it’s her natural tendency, because of her guilt, to try to justify her own behavior.”
One thing’s for sure — things can’t keep going on the way they are. Josslyn is going to have to make a decision as to whether or not to keep trying with Cameron or cut him loose.
