Tyler Christopher Is “Grateful to be Home”

Fans of actor Tyler Christopher (ex-Stefan, DAYS OF OUR LIVES; ex-Nikolas, GENERAL HOSPITAL) were happy when he returned to social media with an Instagram post featuring four photos and a caption that read: “Malibu sunsets, friends that are family, theatre, and Sunday service. Grateful to be home.”

The first photo shows Christopher standing on the beach as the sun sets in the background, bathing everything in a warm glow. Next is a group photo of the “friends that are family” with the actor in the middle. Then a shot of Christopher with former GH co-star and good friend Ronnie Marmo (ex-Ronnie) at a performance of his play I’m Not a Comedian… I’m Lenny Bruce, followed by a photo of him with someone, presumably attending Sunday service. You can scroll through them all in his Instagram post below.

Fans were relieved when Christopher posted online, given that he hasn’t been active since May 3, when he shared a photo of his daughter, Boheme, on her sixth birthday. He also has a son, Greyson, who just turned 12 on Oct. 3. And before that, he posted a selfie with both of his kids back in April 2020.

Christopher has been open about his struggles with substance abuse, so a message like this is a very good sign for the actor. And while his supporters would love to see him back in daytime, GH has unfortunately recast the role of Nikolas. And while DAYS also recast Stefan with fellow GH alum Brandon Barash (ex-Johnny), they then killed off the character entirely and gave Barash the role of Jake, instead. Of course, with DAYS, no one is ever truly dead, so who knows what might happen in the future?

Hopefully, this is the beginning of a new stage in Christopher’s life and we will soon see a lot more of him — both on social media interacting with fans and on the screen!
