Actor Tyler Christopher announced on social media that he’s back in the game! “Coming back to California,” he declared. “Miss you, friends. After a near-death experience in December, doesn’t matter. I’m ready to start over again and get back to work. Can’t wait to see you all!”
Best known for his runs as Nikolas on GENERAL HOSPITAL and Stefan on DAYS OF OUR LIVES, Christopher disappeared from social media in spring of 2019 before resurfacing a year later sharing a photo with his kids and inspirational words from William Ernest Henley: “Times are hard no matter what your circumstances. I say to myself daily, ‘I am the master of my fate. I am the captain of my soul.’ Now go live it.” He also shared a couple of selfies with books he’s read, Understanding Addiction and Recovery Through a Child’s Eyes and Do One Thing Every Day That Centers You.
Among the fans welcoming the actor back were some of his former co-stars who also wished him well. “Let’s go!” urged Greg Vaughan (ex-Eric, DAYS). And GH alum Natalia Livingston (ex-Emily) cheered: “Rooting for you! You’re going to do great things!” Brandon Barash, who took over the role of Stefan when Christopher exited in March 2019, posted emojis of raised hands and a fist to show his support.
Christopher’s most recent work has been in the indie films Pretty Broken and F.R.E.D.I., but now that he’s getting back to his old life, fans can look forward to seeing him in more new projects. So keep checking back at SoapsInDepth.com because we’ll keep you updated on what he does next!
