Viron Weaver Is the New Wiley on GENERAL HOSPITAL
No, your eyes are not deceiving you — Wiley Corinthos is looking a little different. Viron Weaver debuted as the newest recast of Michael’s son on GENERAL HOSPITAL in the Dec. 14 episode of the soap. The young actor only has a few credits on his resume so far, including appearances in the HBO documentary series MCMILLIONS, and the films Bear City 3 and Fame-ish.
As the center of a lengthy baby swap storyline, Wiley became an instant fan favorite from his birth in 2018 as played by the adorable twins Erik and Theo Olson. Unfortunately for the viewers who were enjoying watching the little boys grow up on screen, the twins moved overseas and in September 2021 the role was recast with Caleb and Kyler Ends.
It can be hard to keep up with the kids in Port Charles with all the recasts these days. In September 2021, Enzo De Angelis became the new Aiden Webber, and in November, GH recast the role of Danny Morgan with Zakary Risinger and Rocco Falconeri with Brady Bauer. And then in December, Scarlett Fernandez revealed that she was leaving the role of Charlotte Cassadine, which she’s played since 2016.
Wiley remains an important part of the GH canvas, as Michael and Willow continue to raise the little boy. Especially now that Brad Cooper has been paroled from prison for his part in the baby swap and Michael remains determined to protect Wiley from him at all costs!
