Watch GH Alum Coby Ryan McLaughlin on S.W.A.T.!
While viewers weren’t exactly fans of Shiloh on GENERAL HOSPITAL, they still enjoyed the villainous cult leader’s portrayer, Coby Ryan McLaughlin. And now they’ll be able to watch him on TV again this Friday, Feb. 3, in the episode of S.W.A.T. airing at 8:00 p.m. ET on CBS!
“Thank you, S.W.A.T. for an amazing experience,” the actor declared in an Instagram story. “Incredible show to work on! Loved every second of playing with you guys.”
McLaughlin is listed in the guest cast for the episode titled “Addicted,” which sees the SWAT team racing against time to stop a gunman targeting rehab centers to take revenge on those he blames for his brother’s death. The GH alum will be playing Jasper, but there are no details on how his character will fit into the story. Hopefully, he’s not the bad guy again so fans can see him in a whole new light!
McLaughlin joined the cast of GH back in December 2018 as the mysterious Hank Archer, who was later revealed to be the dangerous Shiloh, leader of the Dawn of Day cult. His run came to an end in September 2019, after which he continued working in primetime.
Since exiting the soap, McLaughlin has appeared in shows like HAWAII FIVE-0, RAVEN’S HOME, GREY’S ANATOMY, and DYNASTY as well as movies like The Nanny Murders and Bound by Blackmail. And now he’s adding S.W.A.T. to his ever-growing resume.
