Watch Maurice Benard’s Adorable Dance Party with His Granddaughter!
Get ready for some cuteness overload: GENERAL HOSPITAL star Maurice Benard (Sonny) busting a move with his young granddaughter, TT! It’s hard to imagine, but the legendary actor who brings intimidating Port Charles mob boss Sonny Corinthos to live each day on GH is just a big old mush when it comes to his two granddaughters, as he’s shown time and time again on his Instagram feed. In a post on April 26, the Daytime Emmy winner proved once again how devoted he is to the toddlers in his life when he shared a video of him and TT dancing in his garage gym!
Singing along to Stevie Wonder’s “Living For the City,” the actor playfully boxed with TT as she sat in her ride-on toddler car. Then, TT decided she wanted to dance along. “Getting out?” Benard asked. “Come on. Do a little dance.”
As TT toddled around the home gym, Benard followed behind her, dancing along with his granddaughter. “Gotta tell you, it’s so much fun to watch TT boogie down,” he wrote in his caption. The actor also asked his followers what they thought of his workout gear: a pair of Marvel Comics lounge pants featuring the iconic symbols of the Avengers like Iron Man, The Hulk, Captain America, Thor, and more. “Tell me how much you love my pants?”
Little TT’s parents are Benard’s daughter, Cailey, and her husband, Carlos Avila. While the actor had previously included her in posts along with his other granddaughter (that would be his daughter Heather’s little girl, Eloise), Benard only recently mentioned Cailey’s daughter by name. “It’s TT’s second birthday,” he wrote on April 1. “I so wish I could tell you this beautiful little girl’s story! But it really isn’t my story to tell, but I promise you one day you will learn how we had the privilege to have her in our lives.”
TT is such a lucky little girl to have a doting grandpa who stops his boxing workout to have a dance party with her!
