Wes Ramsey’s Beautiful Birthday Message to Laura Wright

Tags:

Not only is Wes Ramsey a talented actor, bringing the villainous Peter August to life on GENERAL HOSPITAL, but he is also an accomplished writer with multiple books of poetry to his credit. So it’s only natural that he would take the time to pen a beautifully heartfelt message to his lady love, Laura Wright (Carly) on her birthday. And alongside a photo of Wright holding their little puppy Kimba with the sun shining behind her, he shared one of his works of art.

“You are my sunshine seeker
With your halo of gold
Filling hearts, inspiring minds
Your spirit lifts light itself and in the sun shining rays of your warmth, heals all around you
On this day of reflection and passage of time
I give thanks for your light

So thank you for holding my hand while I bask in your glow
Thank you for teaching me the depth of what you know
Thank you for being my partner and laughing at our silly things
Thank you for being my girl and believing in magic with me…”

Following his lovely poem, Ramsey concluded his message with a simple: “I love you, Laura. Happy birthday, baby.”

On Sept. 12, the day after her birthday, Wright reached out to her fans on social media to thank them for the “beautiful birthday wishes” and share her gratitude. “I sit here today grateful,” she wrote. “Grateful for another year, grateful for the people in my life, grateful for this amazing ride of life.” She also shared a separate post to thank the special man in her life. “A big hug to this incredible man,” Wright declared. “Thank you for the perfect birthday week! Grateful for you, Wes Ramsey.”

These two really are #CoupleGoals!
