Stacy Haiduk Reveals the Meaning Behind Her Wrist Tattoo (EXCLUSIVE)
Upon leaving the convent, Kristen happily had her phoenix tattoo redone on DAYS OF OUR LIVES. Fortunately, the bird is one of many designs sported by her portrayer, Stacy Haiduk, who also has a Siamese cat on her ankle and some new ink on her wrist: an anchor with a design at the top and two script Ls facing opposite each other. But what does it mean? “It has ‘Ls’ for love and light, which I’m a huge believer of spreading out into the world,” Haiduk explained to Soaps In Depth. “It also has the full moon and the sun, the anchor into the earth and the ground — into where you are in life. I came up with it.”
The story behind why Haiduk got the tat is equally interesting. “I fell on a glass bottle and slit open my whole hand. It was a seven-hour surgery just to get my thumb back into gear,” she said of the painful experience. “So finally, I was able to get a tattoo to cover the scar.”
